A Guarda Revolucionária do Irão declarou na quarta-feira que disparou mísseis balísticos contra uma base militar utilizada pelos EUA perto de Al Azraq, na Jordânia, e atacou 10 navios perto do Estreito de Ormuz.

A Jordânia afirmou que as suas defesas aéreas intercetaram 18 mísseis, enquanto dois caíram em zonas despovoadas. Não foram registadas vítimas. Um responsável dos EUA afirmou que o ataque foi ineficaz e que todos os militares americanos foram localizados.
