Il petrolio cede i guadagni della guerra mentre Iran e Israele si allontanano dal baratro

I futures del greggio Brent sono scesi di 1,14 dollari, ovvero dell'1,2%, a 93,11 dollari al barile entro le 06:30 GMT. Il greggio statunitense West Texas Intermediate (WTI) è sceso di 1,30 dollari, o dell'1,4%, a 90,00 dollari al barile.

Il calo ha fatto seguito a una sessione di scambi volatile lunedì, quando i prezzi del petrolio sono aumentati fino al 5% dopo che i rinnovati attacchi israeliani in Iran e in Libano hanno sollevato preoccupazioni per un conflitto regionale più ampio.

Il sentiment del mercato è migliorato dopo che le forze armate iraniane hanno annunciato la fine delle operazioni militari contro Israele. Tuttavia, gli analisti hanno affermato che gli investitori rimangono scettici sul fatto che l'attuale pausa porterà a una pace duratura.

L'Iran ha dichiarato che potrebbe riprendere gli attacchi se Israele continuerà a colpire Hezbollah in Libano, mentre il primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu ha avvertito che Israele risponderà con forza a qualsiasi futura aggressione iraniana.
