Kuwait und Bahrain aktivierten während der Angriffe ihre Luftabwehr. Kuwait schloss vorübergehend seinen Luftraum, bevor er später am Donnerstag wieder geöffnet wurde.

Der Iran behauptete, die Straße von Hormus sei vollständig gesperrt, und warnte Schiffe vor der Einfahrt in die Meerenge. Das US-Zentralkommando wies diese Behauptungen zurück und erklärte, der kommerzielle Schiffsverkehr laufe weiter und es seien keine US-Schiffe getroffen worden.
