Beide Exobots bestechen durch ein von Science-Fiction inspiriertes Design und nach oben öffnende Flügeltüren. Ceer hat zudem die herkömmlichen Säulen zwischen den Vorder- und Rücksitzen entfernt und setzt stattdessen auf hochfeste Materialien für die strukturelle Stabilität.

Die Fahrzeuge sollen Anfang 2027 in Saudi-Arabien in den Verkauf gehen.

Ceer ist ein Joint Venture zwischen dem saudi-arabischen Staatsfonds Public Investment Fund und dem taiwanesischen Elektronikriesen Foxconn. Foxconn hat die elektrische Architektur der Fahrzeuge entwickelt, während BMW technische Unterstützung leistete.

Auch ein wachsendes Netz von Zulieferern errichtet derzeit Fabriken in Saudi-Arabien, darunter Lear, Shin Young, Benteler und Fangxin.
