Die lokale Belegschaft erreichte im ersten Halbjahr 2026 die Zahl von 120 Mitarbeitern, was dem Zehnfachen im Vergleich zu 2023 entspricht.

Das indische Vorsteuerergebnis hat sich im Jahr 2025 mit 3,18 Millionen Euro ($3,5 Millionen) gegenüber dem Vorjahr (1,45 Millionen Euro) mehr als verdoppelt. Weltweit verzeichnete Adyen im Jahr 2025 einen Nettogewinn von 1,06 Milliarden Euro (1,23 Milliarden Dollar).

Das Unternehmen betreut Großkunden wie Uber und Microsoft und arbeitet mit Adobe an dessen indischem Zahlungsangebot. Zudem unterstützt es die indische Reiseplattform Oyo bei ihrer internationalen Expansion.

Adyen sieht sich mit einem wettbewerbsintensiven und stark regulierten Markt konfrontiert. Stripe hat seine Aktivitäten in Indien im Jahr 2024 zurückgefahren, während sich PayPal 2021 aus dem inländischen Zahlungsverkehr zurückgezogen hat und sich nun auf grenzüberschreitende Transaktionen konzentriert.
